No, we didn’t go to Kentucky. We went to the Kentuck Arts Festival. Now, we have been to a bunch of festivals, and this is the best one we ever attended. We spent so much on some amazing art, caught up with some old friends and made some new ones.
We camped at a little known campground called Deerlick Creek, about 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa, AL. This was our maiden voyage for our 2016 Airstream 16ft Bambi. Our site was #3 which was very nice. There was a big wooded ravine right off our site. We saw plenty of deer and had plenty of firewood. It was private, but also a short walk to the bath house. Upon driving around, we found site 35 and 39 with great views of the lake and sites 17 and 18 with great views of the canyon and river below. We will book again next year for Kentuck.
We also pulled the Bambi with our 2021 Broncow. They made a great pair. I do need a longer drop for the hitch, but other than that, it pulled well on the 4 hour trip.
